Making an almost silent mechanical keyboard. GMMK, Cherry silent red switches, QMX clips, SA keycaps
Keycaps:
Domikey SA Dolch Orange ABS Doubleshot
https://en.zfrontier.com/collections/in-stock/products/domikey-sa-dolch-orange
Zfrontier are Chinese. I paid about $16 for shipping and it got to the UK in two days. Yup, two days.
Uniqey QMX-Clips:
https://uniqey.net/en/accessories/18/qmx-clips-plate-mount-110-pcs.
Zealio also make silencing clips
https://zealpc.net/products/zealencio
Clips fit over the top of the switches and have foam surfaces to absorb noise when the switches hit their stops
Rubber mat:

£1.85 on Ebay? I paid a pound for mine - in a pound shop (like a dollar store, yankees)
Keyboard:
Glorious Modular Mechanical Keyboard (GMMK)

I actually bought mine from Overclockers
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/glorious-pc-gaming-race-gmmk-full-size-keyboard-barebones-iso-layout-kb-004-gr.html
Switches:
Cherry MX Silent Red. Developer kit only available from Reichelt (switches available elsewhere)
https://www.reichelt.com/gb/en/de/en/cherry-mx-silent-red-keyswitch-developer-kit-cherry-dmx3al1nn-p212402.html?r=1
Cherry Silent switches (they're not silent) use little internal rubber stoppers to make them quieter. Details here:
https://www.cherrymx.de/en/mx-original/mx-silent-red.html#techSpecs
Cherry MX Silent Black. Same as the reds, but the reds need 45 cN (equivalent to 45 grams of weight pressing down) operating force, whereas the blacks need 60 cN.

Regular viewers will be aware that I made a similar GMMK keyboard for a friend about a year ago. Video of that here:
