Making The Robin Hood Tree in Far Cry 5!
What started as a simple idea to build a tree using bushes and logs turned into a suggestion from my wife to recreate the iconic Sycamore Gap (also known as The Robin Hood Tree), as it featured in a prominent scene in the 1991 film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. The tree stands alongside Hadrian's Wall near Crag Lough in Northumberland, England and was around 150 years old before it was sadly chopped down on the 28th September, 2023 by an unknown culprit, for reasons that remain unknown.
Be sure to check out my other iconic locations from around the UK!
