A scene from Silent Hill recreated in the Far Cry 5 map editor on Xbox Series X., which is probably the closest Xbox players will get to experiencing this Sony Playstation exclusive!

I wasn't sure how to do the puddles at first but decided to use blood stains as they give a nice reflective appearance and then play with colour (or the lack of it) in the final render to create the illusion of normal rain puddles.

While I was creating this scene I placed an NPC behind the toilet building on the right to use for size reference and forgot to delete him, so when I first jumped into play mode to check out the scene from a first-person perspective, he walked out from behind the building and gave me a wee fright! I swiftly blasted him with my shotgun and got back to building.

The beautiful music from this video is from the Silent Hill soundtrack and is by Akira Yamaoka - a Japanese video game music composer, sound designer, guitarist, and producer, best known for composing various games in the Silent Hill series by Konami. He also once worked as a producer on the series, as well as serving as a composer and producer of the Silent Hill film and its sequel. Since 2010, he has been the sound director at Grasshopper Manufacture.
