Lincoln (Neb.) East athlete Malachi Coleman had an official visit lined up with Michigan for this coming weekend. But new Buffaloes' tight ends coach Tim Brewster stopped by the Cornhusker State last week and he has convinced the four-star prospect to visit Boulder instead.
The 6-foot-5, 205-pound Coleman verbally committed to Nebraska on Oct. 22 but re-opened his recruitment earlier this month. He did host new Huskers head coach Matt Rhule for an in-home visit and took a second official visit to Nebraska this past weekend.
Coleman is No. 63 on the 247Sports national rankings for the 2023 class, and he is the top ranked prospect in Nebraska. He could end up playing as a pass catcher, linebacker or edge rusher at the next level.
