Stam Fine Reviews looks at the phenomena of Manimal, a short lived series from 1983 that seems to live on. Jonathan Chase (Simon MacCorkindale) can shapeshift into an animal in order to fight crime along friend Tyrone C. Earle (Michael D. Roberts) and detective Brooke McKenzie (Melody Anderson).
Manimal was cancelled very quickly and when combined with a very high concept premise, became bit of a joke among people who'd probably never seen it. But what is the actual show itself like? Can you keep your cynism in check in order to enjoy some vintage cheese?
