So for a months, I was having a struggle figuring out how to cook a custom map for Ark Survival using the Ark Editor. After that, I was having trouble trying to upload that map to the steam workshop to share for everyone to subscribe and use in their game.

I thought it might be a good idea to share what knowledge I found since i was having such a tough time finding that on the internet. Most tutorials would explain the basics of map creating in the ark dev kit, but would not explain the most important step. Cooking or Rendering your map, and then uploading it to steam.

Some of the struggles I was having was when I would cook the map, I would get all the levels at once in my game selection. That was a little bit of an issue having the map layers or sub levels be selectable. That is a good way to break things.
