Hey all,

So after a bunch of grinding to clear out all the achievements I finally clear the boss rush (to be honest I reached level 99 before getting the 20 hour mark achievement....)

Level doesn't do much for the boss rush, as it only gives you a slight edge in stats. I think it's realistically clearable at level 65+.

It also seems Scorpion King, FrankenRoid, Mahota and Chise are the most annoying enemies in the boss rush. Not sure if you can speed up Mahota somehow but beating him doesn't require much potions.....
Chise on the other hand, if you can get past her, you can probably defeat Morgan too (True Morgan fight is a joke, they probably guessed people would run out of potions for this fight, so they made his HP pool a bit lower).

Also don't be like me..... and waste your (power) elixers, it seems there's no way to get them from monster drops....

Final thoughts on the game (I'm thinking of reviewing completed games on the channel ^~^):

- Story - I feel like they initially intended to let you also play as Duke the Mechanic and Chise the Cannoneer, but I think later in development they decided against it.... unfortunate, I would've loved to play more the game only stands around 7 to 8 hours, the DS game is 3 times as long. I'd give it a solid 8.

- Gameplay - Well you play as a Battle Mage, so you are constantly struggling with your MP values, I also feel you barely use any of the skills even though you have so much more buttons to press.... The main combo attack is usually the best pick though Genesis is great since it gives you iframes.
But the main problem, the biggest problem, is despite being on the 3DS you can't use the control stick to move! Using the D-pad for longer periods is just not comfortable (I was getting cramps during the Leafre and Future jump sections). I'm going to be harsh here and give it a 5.

- Animation/Graphics - Compared to the original MMORPG and the DS game this is such a delight to look at, the animations, the portraits the movements. I just love it! And it also has jiggle physics cause why not? There are some bugs with enemies getting stuck and I had to reset at one point because I healed while getting hit and my character just froze up. This really saved the gameplay issue for me, it get's a 9.

- Music/Sound - Can I just say, it's super weird hearing the Aquarium theme while you're in Orbis? Why not just use the Orbis theme? It's just the soundtrack of the MMORPG, nothing special besides the Opening track, I was also hoping for a special credits song but it's just an instrumental of the Opening.... Maplestory DS did better in that regard.... I'll give it a 7, nothing special, but not bad either.

That brings the average to 7.25 which I feel is a pretty fair score.
