Here's my box office recap for March 2024. And unlike January and February, March was actually a pretty solid month. Dare I say, the best month the box office has had since last July. Dune: Part Two lived up to the hype and became 2024's 1st blockbuster, while Kung Fu Panda 4 and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire performed very well for themselves. The only real big miss was Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, which may cause the franchise to go on another multi-decade hiatus. Everything else was just there. Although March was good, any positive momentum 2024 has is going to be erased in April and then some.
