Mario Kart 8 DLC: Crossing Cup, Bell Cup & 200CC Blind Playthrough & Review!
5Dave and I tackle Mario Kart 8's DLC released on 23/4/15. Two new cups are unlocked, the Crossing and Bell Cups, both with an interesting mix of new tracks and remakes.
Some points that never came up in the commentary:
In the subway track, the attention to detail, be it the adverts, the subway map and the graffiti, is really impressive.
I didn't notice at first that Koopa City's music is a remix of Toad's Turnpike and possibly another one.
Since we only played the track once (and Dave didn't mention it when choosing the cup), the Animal Crossing level changes season each time you race on it.
I will likely do a follow-up video. 200 CC is a little too fast, eh?
