How do Mario Kart Arcade GP, Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 and Mario Kart 8 all stack up against one another? Let's find out in 3 way split screen. There's a bit of old video re-purposing going on here as the MKGP 1 vs 2 video is something I've previously uploaded on it's own - I just found my original video, re-jiggled it around a bit and added the MK8 footage to it.

All the games are running on Emulators here; Mario Kart Arcade GP 1 & 2 are using a special Triforce revision of Dolphin Emulator (each game needs a different one, MKGP 1 is a bit more convoluted to get runing than 2) and Mario Kart 8 is running on CEMU 1.7.2.d. Aside from a tiny bit of slowdown every now and then, MK8 is running pretty much faultlessly for me now.
