Backstory
The author was originally attempting to recreate N64 Wario Stadium. However, when he released the first version of the course, there were complaints from many fans saying that it did not bear much of a resemblance to the track it was based on. Later, this was addressed by a name change to Wario's Arena and then finally to Wario's Lair. The first release had many glitches, so the next release featured many bug-fixes and allowed players to trick on the hills. Additionally, there were some adjustments to the textures and the course was scaled a little bigger.'

This track is made by thondam. It has an arena theme. It's not so well programmed, with a very short Intro and a working Minimap. The CPU AI needs improvement. The circuit offers several routes, but nevertheless navigation is simple; you can tell where you are going next because there are arrows showing where to go. There are just a few places where you can fall off the track. The obstacles are varied, and include mud, Fire bars, fire circles, Thwomps, Rolling Chain Chomps, Goombas, Piranha Plants, and a fire-breathing Bowser. There is a secret area which allows you to pick up a Star item. There is also a shortcut near the end that cuts the second to last corner but try to avoid the Fire Bar. The end of the circuit contains a jump and a Fire Circle surrounding the Bob-omb item. The background is weird at places, showing the audience as you go around the track. Overall, it's an OK track.
