Heh, it's now officially been 1 year where I don't really have anything to do. Getting a job seems to be like winning a contest, as everything I apply for, I'm competing against hundreds of other people. I guess everyone who has a job has managed to win such a contest, though it'd be odd to think of paychecks as prize money.

Wario's Gold Mine
Someone in this room really likes Wario's Gold Mine, since he kept picking it the whole time I was in this room. I can understand if someone has a "main" when it comes to character or vehicle, but having one for the racetracks seems like a bit of overspecialization. Adapting to rapidly changing circumstances is a big part of Mario Kart. If I remember correctly, it's that Karl guy always picking Wario's Gold Mine. Anyway, I clawed my way back to 3rd from a low spot, despite the game displaying that I was in 2nd when I crossed the finish line. Where did those "filou" and "enano kbro" players come from? (As in the end of the race. One passed in front of me without me knowing.)

Well, here's a firsthand look at one of the many griefers that apparently plague Mario Kart Wii. VR and BR give griefers a reason to do mischief, as there are a lot of people who play to win and griefers know they can anger people more if others play to win. here, I really wasn't too concerned--just to finish ahead of Anarion. Anarion's VR is around 22,000 (which, of course, is a smoking gun of cheating as VR can only reach 9999), so pretty much everyone will gain VR. Poor normy though...Anarion managed to trap normy in that tunnel for quite some time before growing bored.

My score was pretty insignificant until I started getting Mega Mushrooms. Wow, I've been able to do a lot of Mega Mushroom rampages as of late. I can see why they stay active for a shorter amount of time than a Star. I also got a little kick of how 3 of the 4 members of the opposing team have weather-based names.
