Welcome to... Mario Paint Original Composition Contest No. 2!! (in C minor)

Ever wanted to make a piece all by yourself? This is your big chance. To enter this contest, create an original composition using Mario Paint Composer and post it as a response to this video. Multiple entries are accepted! There will be no remixes or renditions; every aspect of the piece must come from your own head.

There will be no tempo restrictions! Just bear in mind that the creativity of the piece is more important than the tempo. If you're not comfortable with crazy fast tempos, you certainly don't need to be.

Soundsets: Base Mario Paint sounds only. This includes the original Mario Paint, the original soundset (v2.0 is included), and SatoshiLyish's Mario Paint Plus or Plus Extended.

However, do NOT use cat333pokemon's Mario Paint Real or SatoshiLyish's Mario Paint Orchestra. If you have Mario Paint Composer but never heard of a soundset before, don't worry about a thing; you're okay.

A note concerning Plus: Don't use the four extra instruments (Boo, Shy Guy, Coin, Piranha) that were included with 2.0 . These have been altered from the original sounds so that they are lower octaves of other instruments, and so they are forbidden. Everything else with Plus is fine; just don't use those four instruments.

The deadline of this contest is Tuesday, November 18th. This gives you three weeks time to make a video. Voting will begin in the following week, starting on Wed., Nov. 19th, and by Thursday, November 27th, the winners shall be decided.

Well, the game is the modern version of Vermin, from Game and Watch Gallery 2 for Game Boy. Yoshi must protect the six eggs from the enemies creeping out of the bushes by hitting the enemies with mallets.

Once a particular egg gets cracked three times, the game ends. Since the enemies move at different speeds, the eggs are difficult to protect. Unlike "Egg," which I'm pretty good at, I distinctly remember being better at "Vermin" than this though, truth be told, I am playing on the highest difficulty.

When watching, know that the video's speed is doubled and a small segment around 00:29 was edited out to save time. Turn off video annotations to view freely.
