Here is the first unlockable board in Mario Party, to unlock it, what you have to do is play on all six starting boards, then purchase "Magma Mountain" in the Mushroom Shop for 980 coins, and this unlocks the Magma Mountain board.
This is Bowser's board, and players have to collect Stars in order to defeat Bowser, I play as Mario for this board, and I chose Yoshi, Peach, and Luigi for the CPU players. Bowser's Magma Mountain has a bunch of gimmicks, there is the shortcut, where you can pay 10 coins, if you get a Star from the roulette block, you take the shortcut, if you get Bowser, then you don't get to take the shortcut, and you don't get your coins back.
At the top of the board where Bowser is, if you get really unlucky with your roll, Bowser can steal a Star or 20 coins, if you roll a Star, you get to see Boo. When you land on a Happening Space, the volcano where Bowser is erupts, sending flaming rocks on the board, and all Blue Spaces turn into Red Spaces for two turns. This is one of the hardest boards in the game due to its gimmicks where you can lose coins or even a Star if you end up seeing Bowser.

There is one more secret left in this game, the requirements for that is to have played Bowser's Magma Mountain and have collected 100 Stars in total, this is easier done when you change all CPUs to Players 2-4, this is because CPUs don't count towards total Stars earned from boards, and the best boards for Stars is on boards like DK's Jungle Adventure as it is straightforward, Yoshi's Tropical Island is a good board, even though the Happening Spaces can change things around, it can take many runs to get up to 100 Stars and unlock the secret.
