Mario Party: Star Rush - Rushing for the Stars
Composers: Toshiki Aida, Satoshi Okubo
Arranger: Patty Harden
Looking for an upbeat Mario tune to keep your energy high? The main theme from Mario Party: Star Rush is sure to keep you on your toes with a smooth groove. I feel this tune uplifts my spirits whenever I’m down and is a good bop for an underrated modern game of the franchise. Also, I should warn you that a certain famous lick is a prominent part of this arrangement. I am neither responsible nor regretful for the impending internal screams this will unleash, but I hope you come away from this with good thoughts!

The 8-Bit Orchestra was inspired by the University of Maryland Gamer Symphony Orchestra, the first collegiate ensemble dedicated to performing video game music.
8-Bit pieces are arranged by students, conducted by students, and performed by students of the University of Delaware. The group organizes concerts twice a year: at the end of the fall and spring semesters. Starting with a group of around 40, now reaching nearly 60 members from a wide variety of majors, the 8-Bit Orchestra is continuing to grow. Today, we are the largest instrumental music RSO on campus, and have been invited to perform at off-campus events like Minefaire, the Minecraft fan convention and Comic-Con for Kids.
