Mario Tennis for Game Boy Color (05)
(link to play below)
A. Coz is your final opponent for the Island Open. An unseeded player like you, but from Factory. He's definitely the power hitter of the Coz Brothers (B. Coz is Tricky like Spike), as demonstrated by his deep Lob shots that throw me off more than a few times. He hits the ball fast and hard, but isn't completely unstoppable. Especially considering I found my groove again and swept him 6-0, 6-0, 6-0.
Beating all that impresses Mario (yes, that Mario) so much that he invites you to visit Mario World. Their intention was to allow you to relax and have a good time while you're there, but Wario, Waluigi, and Bowser will have none of that. Nope, they surround you and practically demand you play Mario in one more Tennis match. There really isn't much else to do here, so you may as well accept.
Peach's Castle court is in my opinion one of the better courts. It has a pretty fast ball speed with a strong bounce, so it's easier to play on than the Island Open court in my opinion. Mario himself does try to pull out most of the stops against you, but aside from being all-around as opposed to a power hitter, he's not dissimilar to A. Coz. Sadly, Mario isn't exactly playing his best here (if you rematch him, the Princess gives four difficulty levels that go above even what Exhibition would let you play), but all you have to do is beat him in *this* instance to consider the game complete. Like A. Coz, Mario couldn't take a game against me, but there were more than a few close calls that I hope make for some exciting play.
