In order to climb the mountain, a jumping upgrade is required. Located in Vulcan Forge are the Aria Boots, which enable double jumps. As with the rope and the rock breaker, the Aria Boots make previously inaccessible areas available. Old levels become a cinch to complete, as the Aria Boots make previous puzzles a cakewalk.

The boss guarding the boots is surprisingly easy. I actually never found myself hurt by the boss directly. (I have fallen in the lava a few times during beta testing though.) Fun fact...the boss is drawn by Supertails.

Border of Synthshine is also one of my favorite levels in the game. The cool palette is utterly awesome, and you really get that corrupted feeling from the last area.
