Have Game, Will Play: Mar War Logs 2 of 3

You are Roy Temperance, a p.o.w who is trapped on Mars. You must select dialogue choices, level up, craft armor/weapons and hit your would-be killers with blunt objects, magic(really science) and bullets in order to survive. Mars War Logs was immediately written off by many people who just saw it as a low-budget Mass Effect. That's exactly what it is but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The game starts off very slowly and the voice acting goes from serviceable to hilariously bad. However there is a certain low-rent charm to the game that clicked with me. I hope people stick around for the third and final part of the video series because once I learned how to play the game, it really opened up and became even more enjoyable. Every game can't be AAA and despite Mass Effect 3, and games like it, being $15 now; Mars War Logs is appropriately priced.
