Marshadow-GX! Burning Shadows - Pokémon TCG Live Online Matches #92
The Burning Shadows expansion of Pokémon TCG is here, Trainers! And with it comes a whole new assortment of Pokémon-GX to take a look at in our Pokémon TCG Live Online Matches series. Our first Pokémon-GX to take center stage will be the recently discovered Mythical Pokémon, Marshadow-GX. This Pokémon has an amazing Ability somewhat similar to Mew-EX's Versatile, called Shadow Hunt. Marshadow-GX is able to use the attacks of any Basic Pokémon in its owner's discard pile. It can also use its own Beatdown attack for 120 damage, or its Peerless Hundred Blows GX attack inflicts 50 damage times the amount of basic Energy attached to it. However, I'm most interested in its Shadow Hunt Ability allowing for so many different possibilities. Two of the more competitive strategies I can think of would be to use Marshadow-GX as a Night Marcher, inflicting 240 damage each turn with ideal circumstances; otherwise, it could also function well using Jolteon-EX's Flash Ray and Glaceon-EX's Crystal Ray, defending itself from opposing attacks by either Basic or evolution Pokémon. MY idea, however, is a little kookier, crazier, and downright funner. I'm using Pokémon's attacks such as Sudowoodo's Watch and Learn and Clefairy's Metronome to add even more attack possibilities, turning the enemy's own attacks against them! Oranguru's Psychic is also a good option, as well as Spritzee's Flail. With all these options at our disposal, let's see how well Marshadow-GX's Shadow Hunt goes in our first (strategized) Burning Shadows Pokémon TCG Live Online Matches!
