The end of my second playthrough of the game MVC2. Thanos and Omega Red are two of the most feared beings in the Marvel Universe. They now must join forces to fight against an entity so ancient, it predates the concept of evil. Abyss is a legendary creature, forgotten by time and believed to be just a fairy tale. Abyss knows only hunger. Abyss is an eldritch, primordial, elder god that existed many centuries before The Big Bang.

In historical records of Makai, Zeruru Aensland, an ancestor of Belial, was the first supernatural being who respectfully ruled over Makai and its people. He, and the other two Makai High Nobles, sealed Abyss away in an underground temple where it spent untold centuries in a deep sleep.

Abyss was unleashed upon the multiverse following the events of Darkstalkers 3 and MVC1. The very existence of Abyss threatens all life within the Marvel and Capcom multiverses. Do Thanos and Omega Red have what it takes to destroy Abyss? Or is this the end of both Marvel and Capcom?
