Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics is a fighting game compilation by Capcom, in cooperation with Marvel Games, which serves as a successor of Marvel vs. Capcom Origins. It features all 2D Marvel licensed games which were first released in Arcade port, from The Punisher (1993) to Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes, released between 1993 to 2000. It is scheduled to release in four late months of 2024, on PlayStation 4 (cross compatible on PlayStation 5), Nintendo Switch and Microsoft Windows (via Steam), with the digital release dated in September, then three months later on November for its physical release, while Xbox One release (cross compatible on Xbox Series X|S) is set to be released on 2025.
It is powered by MT Framework, a same engine which was for seventh to eight generation console ported Capcom games like (Ultimate) Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds.
It is part of Capcom Fighting Collection compilation series.
