Marvel vs DC game. Apparently NetherRealm Studios will be developing a Marvel vs DC game similar to their other popular titles such as Mortal Kombat and Injustice Gods Among Us. We've been wondering where Marvel will take their brand next and it seems like we may get a little taste in the near future. A new Marvel Fighting Game is definitely what we need. Especially if its coming from NetherRealm Studios. But yeah guys according to a new rumor from industry insider Daniel Richtman, NetherRealm -- best known for developing the Mortal Kombat series is developing a Marvel-themed fighting. As you all know they're no stranger when it comes to the superhero genre. Mortal Kombat vs DC was their foray into the super powered slugfest and since then they've gone on to create its successor, Injustice Gods Among Us. Richtman didn’t have any additional details about the story, estimated release dates, or otherwise, except to say that the rumored Marvel fighting game is currently in development at the studio for the next-gen consoles. And like clockwork fans have already begun speculating on what this title will consist of or if its even an actual thing. But I think we can confirm the latter. Because if you remember a couple years ago NetherRealm's creative director Ed Boon hinted that they're working on a Marvel title.
