Masquerade of the Sands Challenge #4 - A Great Transformation? The Cowboy's Ultimate Test
Challenge #4 of the current event. Pretty hard in my opinion.
Disclaimer: Shame on me. I used clock of forgiveness two times in this run. I believe i used the clock for really small things in this run, and the funny thing was: It was actually better if i hadn't used it at all, lol. Shame on me once more. By any means, please only use this video as a showcase/example of a run to give you the general picture, and not really as a guide. Things are heavily subject to RNG in this one.
Another lengthy and hard fight (for me, at least, hehe). It might also be due to the fact that my units aren't really strong, I don't really have a lot of good units. I really only have good Langrisser Tensei and Legion of Glory units. My laziness to try to do the last stage in Thor God Covenant bites me in the ass here. I could really use a stronger Thor that can be summoned faster. I am getting pretty worried if i could even finish the last challenge tomorrow, lol.
Things that could have been better:
Stronger Thor is the first thing that comes to mind. If your thor has better energy restoration and can be summones sooner, it will also definitely help.
You should bring better units. I believe the best units to use here would be physical DPS with good mobility. I got lucky in my run. Only Helena and Rozalia ever got turned into a horse. They have good mobility, so they had an easier time running around the battlefield kicking the bomb to the boss. I brought smol Jessica to help teleporting units around the battlefield, but imagine if she was the one being turned into a horsie. RIP. You might not even need a tank if your physical DPS can take some hits. But i think you would want at least one healer for sure. Tiaris might be the best choice due to her mobility.
Another thing to note is: Once the boss has lower than 50% hp, he would get an armor stack every 2 turns instead of 4. Depending on how the run goes, you might actually need to bring another unit with skills that can push objects around. SP Cherie with her new skill, Cavalry with smash/ram are some examples. You will have an easier time kicking the bombs to the boss.
As you can see, i am not really a good/strong player. I believe you can manage it too. I wish you the best of luck and success.
