Masquerade of the Sands Challenge ä5 - Black Avatar - Langrisser Mobile
2The last challenge of the current event. To be honest, i feel that this one is much more easier and straightforward than the horsie ones. You just have to defeat them all, not much thinking needed.
Once more, please refer to this video only as a showcase/example of the run.
A short summary:
- You might want to kill the noblewoman (Shilinka) last. She revived with a TON of HP and an arsenal of offensive skills. Good God..
- In my opinion, you should really kill Christiane first. After she and her pesky debuff is gone, the fight is pretty straightforward.
- You might not need another tank at all, if you can kill Christiane fast enough/if your DPS can take some hits at the beginning of the fight.
Long story:
In this challenge, i once more feel that i could have brought better units. Because of the threat coming from the debuff from Christiane, i am forced to bring another tank to this fight (which you might not need to), and guess who is the only tank i got: Ledin. This fight show just how powercrept Ledin is as a tank. He couldn't counter from range. Hilda is literally tanking everything without her defense bond ( I have no Werner). I really wish i had built my Landius now. He is really useful in challenges, now that i think about it.
Once Christiane is gone, the fight is literally over. You just have to let your DPS give it everything they've got on your turn. While on the enemy's turn, you just have to let your tank and healer combo do their job. Tiaris would have a field day here, i imagine. I only got my waifu Rozenciel tho, and she ain't too shabby at all.
This fight is also some kinda DPS check. If your damage is not enough, you will have a hard time finishing the fight in time. I believe, if you are a stronger player, and could kill Christiane in one turn at the beginning of the fight, or if your DPS can take a hit or two without being guarded (since your tank got debuffed by Christiane), then you should be fine bringing another DPS rather than another tank. It will really help make the fight much shorter.
Seeing a weak player like me manage to win the fight, I believe that most of you will be fine or even stompt it, LOL.
