Reaper threat has been slowed down but not stopped and Shepard is presumed dead. Things turn upside down as unlikely ally appears to help fight against Reapers and their minions. Shepard already encountered this shadowy organization briefly in Mass Effect, but now they’re in the centre of the story, Cerberus, organisation that is ready to go any lengths to save the humanity. Renegade Shepard is more than willing to accept any help he can get as the failings off the council still is in fresh in his memory.
