59As the platform raises us up the final choice is infront of us as Shepard is left to decide the fate of everything, meeting the Catalyst in child form we learn more of the past that led to the Reaper's creation, of the Leviathans decisions within the first cycle and how the catalyst itself reached the decision that led to cycles of destruction.
With the solution decided upon by the catalyst all those eons ago no longer deigned to work any longer, with Shepards presence the proof of that failure, she is given the choice of how this scenario will proceed
Three choices are presented, to DESTROY the Reapers, to CONTROL them, or to reach balance and create SYNTHESIS with all beings becoming a synthetic/organic hybrid.
With Shepard almost raised to the level of deity, the choice is made, saving all that she has tried so hard to protect as the final story is written in her adventure in the Mass Effect universe.
