In the 22th century where humanity expanded into the galaxy and become part of the alien galactic community there is the Andromeda Initiative, where people from all alien races joined to travel to the Heleus Cluster of the Andromeda galaxy to colonize the planets there. Scott Ryder travels to the Heleus cluster on the human ark, the Hyperion with his twin sister, Sara and his father, Alec who is the Pathfinder for the human ark. After arriving at the Heleus cluster 600 years later and Scott and the crew wake-up from cryo sleep, they realize that things aren't going well
