A few words on the end of the playthrough (next episode):

there's only one episode left, and it will cover everything up to the end of the game. However, the end of the game will be somewhat edited, and here's why:

The end of Mass Effect 3 that was originally released was near-universally disliked. It was extremely short and ambiguous, while presenting a whole mess of thematic inconsistency. The outcry against it got so vehement that Bioware released an 'extended cut' of the ending that did a good job of addressing the 'ambiguous' and 'short' problems. This was a great thing for Bioware to do, and kudos to them for what it managed to accomplish.

In my opinion however, there are still a fair number of problems with the ending, one of which stands out head and shoulders (figuratively) from the rest. That problem is a character known as the "Starchild", and he will not be making an appearance in the ending to this playthrough.

I'll be doing my best to edit around his absence and some of the conflicts this causes, while still maintaining the overall narrative flow of the ending.
