I had to open this file in text editor:
.../steam/steamapps/common/Mass Effect/BioGame/Config/DefaultEngine.ini

find the section called [ISACTAudio.ISACTAudioDevice] and add two lines in it:
DeviceName=Generic Software
UseEffectsProcessing=False

After doing it I lost fullHD resolution in game settings, so I had to open this file again and modify startup resolution in the file.

Then the game ran well on ultra-high setting. Hope you enjoy it too.
