The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an action role-playing game set in an open world environment which is more than 30 times larger than previous Witcher games, necessitating the use by players to sail by boat to some locations and ride on horseback to others. Fast traveling to already-visited locations, however, is also possible. The open world in The Witcher 3 was described before release to be "20% bigger than Skyrim". Many actions the player performs affect the world, with many of the quests having a number of options on how to complete them, and differing outcomes.
Witcher 3 is by far the largest game I have played on the channel so far. With over 100 hrs of gameplay, this will surely be one long playlist. The plan is to attempt a completionist run so I will try to be as thorough as possible. So be warned – I will loot everything, read all books/scrolls/notes I find in game and inspect every nook and cranny!
The game is based on The Witcher series of fantasy novels by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski.
