In 1991, Bubble Bobble was ported to the Sega Master System. Despite being late to the party, this version proved the Master System was more than capable of running Taito's arcade classic better than any other 8-bit machine around.

More faithful to the arcade version, it bests the much more popular NES version in every way except for the sound. Very few developers were ever able to get good sounding tunes from the PSG on SMS, and sadly Bubble Bobble falters slightly in this regard. Nevertheless, this is a great port well worth seeking for your SMS collection.
