The Loomis method is a popular approach for drawing faces. It involves using simplified geometric shapes to construct the head and facial features.

Step 1: Draw a Circle
Start by drawing a circle, which will serve as the head's basic shape. This circle will act as a framework for the rest of the drawing.

Step 2: Draw a Vertical Line
Next, draw a straight vertical line through the center of the circle. This line represents the face's midline and helps to establish the position of the facial features.

Step 3: Divide the Circle
Divide the circle horizontally into three equal parts. The top line will be the hairline, the middle line will be the eyebrow line, and the bottom line will be the base of the nose.

Step 4: Draw the Eyes
Position the eyes on the horizontal line for the eyebrow line. Typically, the space between the eyes is roughly the same as the size of one eye.

Step 5: Draw the Nose
Place the base of the nose on the horizontal line below the eyes. The nose should be centered between the eyes.

Step 6: Draw the Mouth
Position the mouth just above the bottom line of the circle. The width of the mouth is usually around the same as the distance between the centers of the eyes.

Step 7: Draw the Ears
Draw the ears between the eyebrow line and the nose line, around the middle third of the head.

Step 8: Refine the Details
Once you have the basic proportions in place, you can start adding more details and refining the features of the face, such as hair, shading, and other facial elements.

Remember, the Loomis method is a guideline, and individual faces may vary. Practice and observation are key to improving your drawing skills. Keep experimenting and don't be afraid to make mistakes. Happy drawing!
