\( \mathrm{NaX} \) (Sodium salt of particular anion \( \mathrm{X} \) ) gives brisk effervescence of \( \mathrm{Y} \) with dilute \( \mathrm{HCl} \). On heating, \( \mathrm{NaX} \) evolves gas \( \mathrm{Y} \) which can be completely absorbed in conc. \( \mathrm{KOH} \) solution and is colorless odourless gas. Hence \( \mathrm{X} \) and \( \mathrm{Y} \) respectively are:
(a) \( \mathrm{HSO}_{3}^{-}, \mathrm{SO}_{2} \)
(b) \( \mathrm{HS}^{-} \)and \( \mathrm{H}_{2} \mathrm{~S} \)
(c) \( \mathrm{HCO}_{3}^{-}, \mathrm{CO}_{2} \)
(d) \( \mathrm{HC}_{2} \mathrm{O}_{4}^{-} \)and \( \mathrm{CO}_{2}+\mathrm{CO} \)
