Matt Damon reflects on his high school experience working with Ben Affleck.
In a Q&A session for a future project in New York, he spoke at length about his friend and lifelong contributor.
Affleck began the talk by making fun of his previous experience directing Damon and admitting, "It's not the first time I've carried him."
According to IndieWire, Damon even chimed in, saying, "That may appear like the first time he's directed me. I mean, when we were in high school, he was like, 'Man, I believe you should do it like this.'"
Since then, "he's been leading me for like 40-something years."
For those who are unaware, Affleck and Damon grew up around Boston and graduated in 1992 and 1994, respectively.
This isn't the first time the pair has opened up about their high school days.
Prior to this, they discussed it with People magazine, admitting that they were never "considered cool kids" and were instead "theatre nerds."
Their most recent project was a historical action-drama film directed by Ridley Scott and starring Adam Driver and Jodie Comer.
