MAXED OUT Cyberpunk 2077 Overdrive/Path Tracing Mode DESTROYS(?) i7-1200k and RTX 3070ti
While maybe not destroying my hardware from a framerate perspective, I certainly had a highly variable framerate (25~35fps) with even worse frametimes than normal. I of course tested the game with reduced settings, even turning them down all the way and didn't notice an appreciation in performance. Not to mention an abhorrent amount of ram usage, nearly 20gb of my 32 with path tracing enabled was utilized. Typically, under optimized settings with RT but not Path, I would see around 12gb of ram being used. Hilariously, the DLSS options available on the 30 series card didn't really have much of an impact on performance and I got my best on DLSS set to auto which looked a lot better than performance and ultra performance while actually providing higher framerates than performance.
