As for this video, this was technically recorded on a BetaMax using VHS technology but I say VHS to make it easier. The VCR I used was also from the 80's. It creates the beautiful tear effect that I don't think has been achieved with filters. As an added Bonus, for the Wild West level, I subdued the color, to make it seem more like a 60's movie than an 80's one. For the final level, I was told it was a reference to the Matrix. The movie was famous for putting over a green filter when in the Matrix, and I tried the same thing here. I hope you enjoy. I do wish the sound was a little higher, which is odd. When recording this, I could hear the game throughout the house. If you know of any other games that would look great in this style, let me know. These are a lot of fun to make.
