MaXXed Out Racing: Nitro! Part 17 - Yesterday's Memory
1(don't read unless you don't mind me spoiling the plot)
MaXXed Out Racing: Nitro! is a ridiculous, budget ps2 game published by D3 as part of their "simple series", straightforward, formula style games with almost no money put in to them (in this case probably only a few thousand dollars). It's absurd plot is about a Motorcycle gang (even though they are only ever seen or mentioned racing cars) called Asakusa Rock, Led by Shuichi Asakawa, the first chapter is about his brother Kenji, who was beaten up by thugs, and the quest with the two brothers to find the people that hit him, and exact their revenge. The second chapter is about the love between Shuichi and his girlfriend, Suzuko, whom he snuck out of hospital so she could see the lavender fields of Hokkaido. On the way there she starts feeling ill again (terminally ill in fact) and dies. In Chapter 3 you travel around Japan with your old friend Akane, to try and cheer you up. In the fourth and final chapter, you meet a mysterious man whose name is Virus, and who mainly speaks Spanish, he tells you that "Enemy" (probably Communist) technology is controlling peoples minds and only beating them in a street race will turn it off (which is completely believable to everyone in the game). This results in you having an epic climatic race against your previously dead girlfriend, who has been brought back (with no physical differences) as a robo zombie, whom you must race, to turn her back to normal, in order to live happily ever after.
