Abby and Lev return from the hospital with the medical supplies. Abby gives them to Mel, who proceeds to use them to amputate Yara's arm. Abby and Lev wait outside with Bear, where Abby convinces Lev to pet the dog. Soon, Owen comes out and joins them, revealing Lev can see Yara now. Lev enters the operating room while Owen sits on a chair beside Abby.
Abby wonders why her and Owen no longer share the joy and positive outlook on life that the Seraphite children have; Owen surmises that, since joining the WLF, they have "stopped looking for the light". Mel then appears and confirms the pair can also check on Yara. Abby does so, finding Yara well and in a much better condition. Yara thanks her for what she has done for her.
