Part 20 - Thugs-4-Less: The Last Stand!

After the backtracking of last time, the duo now have to face off against Thugs-4-Less in a revenge mission to not only pay the leader back, but to also free Angela who has an answer of defeating the Protopets. The chapter starts when Ratchet & Clank go off to Gorn in order to stop the Thugs' fleet, but find out that Angela was not there, but after seeing a transmission from the leader (who inadvertently revealed his co-ordinates in front of the camera), the duo head off to the Thugs' HQ to stop them for the last time in this game. Upon fighting their way through the Thugs, the leader is in another giant mech with Angela imprisoned in the midriff area of the mech. After a lengthy battle by using turrets, Ratchet & Clank finally deliver the coup de' grace to the Thug leader for the final time and free Angela who luckily managed to pickpocket a TV Transmission from the Thug Leader, which contains a log entry by Thugs-4-Less regarding the number of Protopets in Megacorp's Distribution Centre. After watching the transmission, it was revealed that Angela used to work for Megacorp under the Genetic's Division on creating the perfect pet and trying to fix the Protopet's problems until Fizzwidget rushed the project through. Angela apparently protested against this, but was sacked from the corporation, meaning the reason why Angela was the masked thief to begin with. After considering their options after trying to persuade Fizzwidget ending in failure, the trio decide to take matters into their own hands due to Angela having an ID on her home planet which Ratchet decides to split up in order to end the fiasco for good. Will the duo stop the hostile forces in time? Find out in this 2nd chapter of the original "Ratchet & Clank" saga. =)
