Very little is known about the nature of the Cube object. Outside, it is a huge, dull black monolith made of unknown metal. The material from which the Cube is built has amazing hardness and is completely resistant to any external influences. On its surface there is one single gateway entrance, letting in only the living representatives of the human race who are conscious.
Inside, the “Cube” is endless rooms, corridors and compartments, extending over distances much larger than you might expect by looking at the object from the outside. It is believed that such a mismatch of external and internal volume is a consequence of the existence of the "Cube" in several parallel dimensions at the same time.
