Finally an adventure game made with the free and open source engine Godot. In the description it says BGE (Blender Game Engine) but in the game it says Godot Engine, so my take is the develiopers switched from Blender Game Engine BGE to Godot engine to make an adventure game, yay!
This is the demo of a full game to come and it looks very polished and promising. You are the name giving Mechanic 8230 and find an alien robot in the trash during your daily work who seems to have a secret. Shortly after turning him back on security comes knocking at your door looking for that robot, the robot flees and you get imprisoned and your memory wiped. You have to escape a lot by solving puzzles that are nicely woven into the gameplay. The graphics are great and look like amanita design's Machinarium's scribble art got turned into 3d artworks and it even plays similar, you can see the inspiration from one of the best adventure games of recent times. The music and sound effects are really fitting and give the whole game an even more professional feel, can't wait for the full game!
