I wanted to compare the handling of 4 different modes of the Mechipede, so I came up with this test. I realised this ultimately depends on my ability to do a rally, and I cannot drive something as squirrely as the Mechipede consistently so results were a little vague. If you like flips there's plenty of that!

Aids:
Springs adjust their length to try and keep the body more level, and will also extend/contract to keep the left and right wheels an even distance for the ground.

No Aids:
None of the above, just passive springs

AWS:
All wheel steering - segments 2, 3 and 4 have a small amount of steering angle to a varying degree

Squat:
Contracts springs and lowers the centre of gravity, also inhibiting virtually all effects of the aids.

Squat mode consistently feels tighter and easier to control at speed, the other modes are more for climbing and may help or hinder depending on the scenario.
