So close to sub-40! This run had so many things go right, but nailing the whole thing start to finish continues to be a challenge. Next stop: 39.

Run on easy difficulty. After experimenting with difficulty settings, it seems that there is little to no difference in the run itself between difficulty levels. The only notable run-impacting change being the Bulldogs in O2M2 are easier to destroy.
