MechWarrior Online - Vindicator 1AA gameplay
62The Avenging Angel was built to compete with the lofty Phoenix Hawk. To do this the designers sacrificed much of the Vindicators armour protection, taking it from around 9 ton to 4 and half. This also allowed designers to add more jumpjets and increase the engine rating.
Sadly the result was a mediocre medium that although it had arguably better firepower than the Phoenix Hawk, it just wasn't resilient enough under fire and thus was scrapped as a production model. The remaining units were off loaded to the FRR after their formation.
In MWO the Vindicator occupies a spot between arguably some of the best medium 'mechs in the game. It's awkward weapon selection combined with it's low speed and poor hardpoint options mean it gets very little attention from the MWO playerbase. A fine 'mech in it's own right, but sadly overshadowed by the far superior 'mechs such as the Blackjack and Cicada.
A favourite of mine from the lore side of things, I would recommend trying it for completionist purposes and little else. Thanks for watching and have a good week, unless you didn't like it and then all I can say is.....Go fuck yourself :)
