6Medal of Honor, EA's modern-day reboot of the blockbuster WWII videogame series, will be released in the UK for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 15th. Medal of Honor's latest tour of duty is still a firstperson shooter but this time enters war-torn Afghanistan. Players will be introduced to the Tier 1 Operator, an elite warrior and relatively unknown instrument of the U.S. Military that operates under the National Command Authority. "Medal of Honor is an authentic look into today's war," says Greg Goodrich, executive producer of Medal of Honor. "Inspired by real people and real events, the game puts players in the boots of today's warrior - from the infantry ground pounder to the Tier 1 Operator." To compliment MoH's singleplayer experience, developed by Electronic Arts in Los Angeles, EA has enlisted the multiplayer expertise of its DICE studio - the creators of the Battlefield games - to help Medal of Honor compete against the likes of Modern Warfare 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2. www.medalofhonor.com
