6Join my in a dark and gritty world of Arthurian legend. It's going to be pretty grim. When the king dies the land dies. Something is very wrong with this land. The wyrdness comes to claim our homes and who are we to stand against it? We are not heroes. We are the people folk turn to after the heroes have already failed. We are this corrupted land's last hope!
In a cell within the asylum of the Red Priests a prisoner awakens. Life stirs within their feeble form. Perhaps this is what hope once felt like before their incarceration and the endless medical experiments, the beatings and humiliation. Now it seems we are being offered a fresh lease on life. A new hope. Although it seems we might be rather embittered towards our former captors and the world that sent us here. Were we infected with the Red Death that the Red Priests seek to solve? Are they perpetuating the disease so that they might keep a steady influx of patients to their asylum? Who can tell.
