0The barbarian hordes of Magyars descend on Belgrade, while the desperate defenders look on. If I can destroy the battering ram, and keep the gates closed, I should be victorious. If the gates are destroyed, the Magyars will flood the streets and put my garrison to the sword.
In this series I'm going to be attempting to return the Eastern Roman, or Byzantine, Empire to a place of glory. Surrounded by pagans, Muslim Turks, and filthy Venetians, I will have to seize Roman land at the point of a sword!
