It was a 9 month long journey, but finally the 20 minute mark has been reached.
This run features the new rune smuggle glitch that I found in 2022. It's an easier alternative to the extremely difficult DGS (dragon gate skip). This glitch lets us skip 6 entire levels, as we do not have to collect the 2 dragon gems and the dragon armour in order to beat the game.
The run also includes several other new finds and optimisations that allow the time to be lowered considerably from the old 23:40 WR that I set in 2021.
In this run I am pushing the limits of how low the time can go using the rune smuggle. With the original DGS method there is the potential to save an extra 15 seconds -- if you are lucky enough to get it perfectly.
