At the time, some Meet The Team files were released publicly on 2012. We had no idea how the programed worked. I was looking back at early SFM animations and I've seen other peoples try to make engineer with no goggles.

SFM has come a long way. The 2009 version of meet the Engineer lacked certain features such as scaling, volumetrics, and even AO. The Meet the Engineer dmx didn't age well with SFM updating from time to time.
I was honestly gonna upload that video like this at one point. And it looked bad. lol

I admit the enhanced engineer is showing a little bit of date (uploaded in 2013), but this was the only one available.
