Meet the Kniplins (An AI Sitcom Game)
4This was a 1 month collaboration between me, Abe Wits and Thomas Hitchcock in which we tried to utilize a large language model (Chat GPT) to bring to life video game characters.
We created this just before the Inworld Origins demo came out on steam.
We managed to create a toylike experience where players could interact with various characters through dialogue. We managed to implement interactions between the characters and the world, but due to the uncharted design territory we were unable to create a complete game within a month.
The project has been abandoned as similar projects backed by bigger companies (Nvidia) were starting to appear.
We learned a lot and had a lot of fun while making this prototype.
